Rafael Quevedo specializes in corporate law, with extensive experience in advising public and private companies on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions (domestic and cross-border), capital markets, joint ventures, corporate governance and all types of corporate and transactional matters. Rafael also has experience in infrastructure and project financing transactions, including green energy projects, as well as in compliance with Mexican securities regulations.

Cemex, in issuances of Mexican sustainability linked notes (Certificados Bursátiles de Largo Plazo Vinculados a la Sostenibilidad) for MXN $11.5 billion.

Scotiabank, in a real estate structured financing involving leases of pharmacies located in 20 different states.

Banorte, in the structured financing to a vehicle managed by Vertex, which funds were used for the construction of the shopping center “Península”, in Tijuana B.C.

Cemex, in the development, project financing, and sale of two photovoltaic projects “Tuli” and “Helios” located in Zacatecas, Mexico, each with an installed capacity of approximately 150 MW.

Cemex, in the development, project financing, and sale of the wind farm project “San Matías” located in Baja California, Mexico, with an installed capacity of approximately 30 MW.

CLC Solutions, in a private equity investment by Bocel.

NadBank and Multiva, in the project financing for the construction of the medical center “Osme” located in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora.

Altum Capital, in structured financings granted to various financial entities, leasing companies, and service providers.

Kredi, in the structured revolving credit facility secured with mortgage loans.

Sasil, in the acquisition of brands and products from P&G, as well as in the negotiation of royalty-based licensing agreements.

Cemex, in various issuances of senior notes.

Ambit Technology, in the sale of its business and multi solution software to Pide Directo.
